Terms and Conditions of Use

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using Wofabéy.
1. Introduction and Acceptance
These General Terms and Conditions of Use (“T&Cs”) govern the use of the Wofabéy platform, a multi‑seller marketplace allowing buyers and sellers to be put in touch. By accessing or using the Wofabéy application, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
Wofabéy is an e‑commerce platform that facilitates transactions between sellers who offer products and buyers who want to acquire them. We act as an intermediary and are not a party to direct commercial transactions between users.
2. Definitions
“Platform”: The Wofabéy mobile application and all its associated services.
“User”: Any person accessing or using the Platform.
“Buyer”: User who purchases products through the Platform.
“Seller”: User who sells products through the Platform.
“Product”: Any item, good or service offered for sale on the Platform.
“Order”: Any purchase transaction made through the Platform.
“Account”: The user account created to access the services of the Platform.
3. Account Creation and Registration
3.1. Eligibility requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age or have the permission of a parent/legal guardian
- Have a valid and verifiable phone number
- Provide accurate, complete, and up‑to‑date information
- Maintain the security of your account and password
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
3.2. Phone Verification: Registration requires verification of your phone number via SMS. You agree to receive verification codes and communications related to your account. You are responsible for keeping your phone number up to date.
3.3. Multiple Accounts: Each user can only create one account. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited and may result in the suspension or termination of all of your accounts.
3.4. Profile Information: You agree to provide accurate information when creating your profile and to update it as necessary. False or misleading information may result in your account being suspended.
4. User Roles
4.1. Buyer Mode: As a buyer, you can browse and search products, manage shipping addresses, track orders, and communicate with sellers.
4.2. Seller Mode: To become a seller, you must complete registration. Sellers can manage inventory, process orders, and view sales statistics.
4.3. Dual Role: Users can have both a buyer and seller account, and can switch between the two modes as needed.
5. Products and Listings
5.1. Product bans
- Counterfeit or pirated products
- Illegal or regulated products (drugs, weapons, etc.)
- Hazardous or recalled products
- Products that infringe intellectual property rights
- Products prohibited by local law
- Fraudulent services or products
Sellers are fully responsible for accuracy, quality, stock availability, and compliance with all laws. Images must accurately represent products. Prohibited use of misleading or stolen images.
6. Orders and Payments
Wofabéy offers cash on delivery. All prices are in Guinean francs (GNF). Order confirmation is not acceptance; sellers may refuse orders for stock or address issues.
7. Delivery
Delivery is arranged between the seller and buyer. Wofabéy uses geolocation to facilitate address entry. We are not responsible for delays or losses during delivery.
8. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are handled directly between buyers and sellers. Sellers are encouraged to establish a clear return policy. Wofabéy can facilitate communication but is not responsible for decisions.
9. Ratings and Reviews
Buyers can rate products after receipt. Reviews must be honest and based on real experience. Wofabéy reserves the right to moderate content that violates our standards.
10. Messaging and Communication
Wofabéy provides a messaging service for buyers and sellers. Users agree to communicate respectfully. Wofabéy may access messages for security reasons or to investigate complaints.
11. Intellectual Property
All Platform rights belong to Wofabéy. By posting content, you grant us a license to use it on the Platform. Respect for third‑party intellectual property is mandatory.
12. Protection of Personal Data
We collect and share data only as needed to facilitate transactions. We do not sell personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. See our Privacy Policy for more.
13. User Conduct
Illegal use, manipulation of ratings, harassment, or use of bots is strictly prohibited and can lead to immediate account termination without notice.
14. Limitation of Liability
Wofabéy acts as an intermediary. We disclaimer all warranties and are not liable for disputes or damages arising from direct commercial transactions between users.
15. Dispute Resolution
Parties are encouraged to resolve disputes amicably via messaging. Mediation may be offered at Wofabéy's discretion. Users retain legal channel rights.
16. Changes to the T&Cs
Wofabéy reserves the right to modify these terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Section dates will be updated accordingly.
17. Termination
Users can terminate accounts at any time. Wofabéy may terminate accounts for fraud, suspicious activity, or T&C violations. Revocation is effective immediately.
18. General Provisions
These T&Cs are governed by the laws of the Republic of Guinea. Any dispute involves Guinea competent courts. Provisions are severable.
19. Contact
Questions can be sent via the app Help section or Platform messaging. By using Wofabéy, you acknowledge acceptance of these terms.
